“I started my career as a carpenter when I was barely 10. I have been doing the carpentry work for 50 years now. Thanks to my cousin, who actually put me into this field. Had it not been for him, I would have struggled to even have two meals a day. I was one of these notorious kids in the village, wandering around the streets aimlessly. I loved swimming. I would often spend my time swimming in the lakes with my friends. I am foodie if you can say. I enjoyed food even as a child. I would demand my parents to prepare a delicious meal for me every single day. After eating, I would saunter around the village. I had no keen interest in education either. My cousin who was much older and responsible than me took charge of my life. He taught me carpentry work. He would punish me if I was late to work or evade from work. He inculcated discipline in my life. I call him my Guru. If not for him, I would have remained a directionless man forever.
Today, I am 61 years old, independent and healthy. I got my three daughters married off into good families. I am always grateful to my cousin.”
