“I started getting to know my wife only after we got married. 35 years ago, when we had kids, life revolved around them and we forgot to make time for each other. We struggled every single day to make our ends meet. We worked hard for our childrens’ future and planned our finances based on their needs. We tried to give them the best of life. And we enjoyed every moment of it! When they grew up, we wanted them to stand on their own feet. I didn’t want to tie them with the responsibilities we had. And now, all of them are happily living their lives. They are busy with their own families and jobs. They do visit us occasionally but now, it’s just my wife and me living together. We have begun to realise that both of us have changed over the years – almost become different people altogether. This is the time we have for ourselves and each other and we hope to make the most of it!”
