“The kind of independence and satisfaction one finds in their own business is irreplaceable. When I was working in Hyderabad in a company, I missed this feeling of freedom. I’m not somebody who enjoys working with others. I enjoy leading my own idea into a business that fetches me enough to live a happy life. That’s exactly what I did when I opened this shop in 1989. Luckily, people in this neighborhood know me, so it was easy for me to attract customers. But it wasn’t always a happy ride. I did have a few phases where I wasn’t doing good financially. I didn’t have enough profits to
pay my children’s education. I was disturbed but my family’s support helped me get back on track. I knew it wasn’t the end. Hard work, patience and hope led me to what I am today. The rule of life is to stay focussed and be able to analyze the best and worst in everything. Once you know that, you’ll take the good and ignore the bad. In my case, I learned how to face tough situations and to cut down on unnecessary luxuries, especially during bad times.”
