“I realized early on in my life that education and office jobs were not for me. Both my parents were day laborers and they somehow pooled in enough money to see me through the 10th standard. Soon after I joined a mechanic shop and worked there for ten years. I started this shed of mine about eight years back and it’s doing okay.
My day starts very early, as my home is 24km away from Kurnool. I stay in Ulindakonda village where my family resides. We have an own house there and cost of living is less compared to the city…so the daily commute in a way makes sense.
I don’t have any dreams of expanding my business as it involves additional finance. It’s an undue risk with my limited earnings and two kids in school. So my focus right now is to make sure my customers are satisfied with my service and they keep coming back.”
