“Parents mean well, but they don’t understand us completely. So, you need to guide them when it comes to your dreams. I did just that when I wanted to pursue my music. I got an MBA degree, started making money as an event planner, teaching music to students…and in parallel, make my mark as a guitarist. Now they are happy and convinced with what I do.
I do not know how I got interested in music…I don’t have role models or any inspirations. From my childhood, I wanted to sing and play an accompanying instrument. The guitar became my obvious choice. When it comes to singing, I do only gospel songs. As a guitarist though, I am pretty much into everything—stage shows, own band, solos and orchestra player. I am glad I am
here in this point of my life and music is my accompaniment.”
