“When I started the computer business, my store was the second in the town. I secured a big order and it was enough for me to shift my base from Vijayawada.
In these 20 years, technology grew by leaps and bounds… and so have the customer expectations. Back then, we used to build our business against advanced orders, our service and customer loyalty. Now service isn’t a differentiator anymore and the customer switches to a new seller at will. But you cannot fight reality and go with the flow. These days I focus more on corporate and government agencies, where the margins are better.
Personally, I feel I am more of an entrepreneur than a businessman. I can spot an opportunity and create some success around it, but I don’t have what it takes to scale or expand it. So,
inspite of bringing many firsts in technology to this part of Andhra, I haven’t managed to take my enterprise beyond one branch. But I have no regrets…Kurnool is still cool and I am happy with what I do.”
