“I moved from agriculture to driving 30 years ago thinking this will give me a better life. But, I have to admit, that not much has changed. Financially, yes, it’s more feasible. But traveling across states continuously is tiring and hectic. Sometimes, we don’t eat for days. No water to drink. There will be no sense of time. We keep driving for days together, away from family and hometown. I don’t know if it was a good decision to move to this job, but back then, I had no option. There was no money to invest in farming. I try and push that thought away. That’s the only way I won’t regret or complain about my present life.”
