“I am studying in Sri Chaitanya school. I have the best family in the world, be it my parents, my brothers and grandparents. We had our own ways of celebrating life and seizing every moment. Every Sunday, we would all go out as a family and spend some quality fun time together. During one such Sunday outing with my dad, I met with a gruesome accident. I had bone fractures and a blood clot in the brain. Unfortunately, it happened just before the lockdown. Our business’s growth started receding and the hospital expense started increasing. I have recovered physically to some extent but mentally, I am still dealing with that trauma. My life changed in a fraction of a second and I couldn’t do anything about it.
The trauma caused due to this accident is so intense that sometimes I have seizures. There is a lot of fear within me and my family post that accident. Our lives were pretty simple and happy, little did I know it was going to change, in a minute. Doctors say, my physical recovery is a miracle in itself. I can’t believe I stepped outside the hospital alive.
Life is not the same anymore. There are new unknown challenges being thrown at me but I tell myself that when I could fight death, I can fight anything that comes my way. My only dream right now is to recover fully, say goodbye to bedrest and go out again with my family like old times.”
