“I still remember the day I had managed to boldy tell my parents that I want to drop out of Engineering. I was in my second year of college when I realized that I don’t belong in engineering stream. It wasn’t an easy choice for me either to drop out and step into something quite new. My parents always wanted to see me do a white-collar job. But I was quite ambitious to become a documentary photographer. I was quite fascinated by docu-features. I used to watch them religiously on TV during my childhood. I started clicking pictures when I was in my Intermediate. During college, I won several awards for my photography skills. I found my true calling in life. I began to document the reality of life in the form of picture stories. I certainly believe that time is life. If I am wasting my precious time in doing something that doesn’t have my heart, what’s the purpose of my life? Well, I have somehow managed to convince my parents to admit me in a visual arts course. I truly believe that an artist’s biggest task is to save the essence of mankind. I really hope I succeed in spreading the values of humanity through my artistic vision.”
