“I’m going to join my MBA this year, so I am already excited about 2021. I work as a sales associate currently. I did my engineering in Chennai, which actually opened me to the world. To address the elephant in the room, I am genetically short. That’s always the first thing people notice about me. When I say this, people assume I must have been bullied or ridiculed, but that was actually never the case. Yes, back in school, I was laughed at a couple of times but I always had my friends stand up for me. I’ve always been an affable guy, and that earned me a lot of loyal and loving friends. I’ve never considered my height to be a flaw, in fact, I always considered that to be my strength. Had I been a normal height, I wouldn’t be standing out right now! I stand out in a crowd and that’s what matters to me. I love looking at myself and my life in a positive way. I’m proud to say I love my height.
I am content and that’s all that matters in life. I think the biggest turning point in my life was to take up engineering in Chennai. I went from being a frog in the well to a street smart man after being exposed to different people and cultures during my course. I’m hoping that this year the MBA is going to enhance my skills, and turn my life around for good, all over again!”
