“There was a time when I used to play cricket but I always thought it was an overrated sport. That’s when I started exploring other sports like Basketball. It used to be difficult at times because the basketball needed a lot of practice and focus compared to the other sports. But I eventually started liking the sport and it became my passion. People in my college have mocked me for choosing basketball over cricket but their opinions are theirs to keep.

Today I play basketball at state level and have won many championships. The people who mocked me, now come and ask me to teach them. The one thing I have learnt in life is that people will judge you and laugh at for your decisions and choices. But no matter what, you should never give up on your goals. I poured my heart and soul into the sport and today I am a successful state level basketball player in Andhra.”
